“No business is more interested in the protecting of our four legged friends than the amazing company, Brilliant Energy.” That was the assessment of Kevin Price, Host of the Price of Business show after a segment with Richard Wakim, who is President of the Houston based company. In addition for being known for its compassion, Brilliant Energy is noted for its competitive pricing and transparency in billing.
Richard Wakim is a regular on the Price of Business show and on a recent program he and Price discussed Houston based “Wags to Whiskers of Texas.” According to a statement, “Wags to Whiskers of Texas, Inc. is a non-profit organization promoting and providing for the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of small animals through fostering, sheltering and education. Their focus is not only on rescue, rehabilitation and adoption, but also on educating the public on responsible pet ownership, including proper care, housing, training, and spay/neuter. Their goal is that through responsible pet ownership, the rate of unwanted animals will decease and fewer animals will be euthanized for the lack of a home.” They visited with Teri Kropik, President of the organization that is in Porter, Texas. Porter is a suburb of Houston. This organization is a model to animal recovery organizations nationwide.
