Don’t Waste Time! Turn Your Passion Into A Profit Making Business With Rhonda Swan

Posted on August 1, 2020August 10, 2020 by David Jackson

As everyone knows, the world is currently going through tough times because of the ongoing pandemic. The global market fell as the stay-at-home policy halted the majority of economic activities, which slowed down the global economy. Financial experts predict that it will take years before most countries get back to post-pandemic levels.

Uncertainty lingers in the livelihood and lives of so many people around the globe due to the ongoing pandemic. Some might say that the future looks bleak. But this is not the case for entrepreneur Rhonda Swan. She encourages that there are still opportunities to be found within this crisis. “We now realized that online is the future of mostly everything. We saw a rise in the demand for online shopping and online learning. I believe there are still a lot of opportunities online,” Swan said.

Swan said that one way of rising from the current situation is to turn someone’s passion into a profitable business. “Use your passion and turn it into a business,” she added. Even the late Apple founder, Steve Jobs, realized how important it is, and he said that the work you enjoy is called passion.

Who Is Rhonda Swan?

Swan is the unstoppable force who found The Unstoppable Branding Agency. Swan is a seasoned digital marketing strategist who has more than a decade of experience handling PR and marketing for Fortune 100 companies and individual entrepreneurs.

Like most of us, she used to work in a 9-to-5 job. She previously held a six-figure corporate position in an international pharmaceutical company. Along the way, she realized that work demand from her place would not be ideal in having a family and raising a child. “I promised myself that I would not send my child to a daycare. I want to be a hands-on mom, so I tried to find a way to replace my income,” Swan recalled. With that determination, Swan took the effort to learn how to do Google Ads. Just imagine, she was already getting into digital marketing even before it became mainstream marketing. “I started selling personal development products. I used Google Ads to capture my leads. You would not believe it, but I only made my first sale after calling 3,000 leads. Most people would have given up after 100 calls. But my passion to do it was strong.  I wanted to build a life that would allow me to raise my child while working at home,” she narrated.

In the next three years, Swan’s business would boom and make over 1 million sales. She successfully replaced her income by earning $37,000 a month. “At that moment, I was already thinking about the future and wanted to have a passive income. We decided to invest in real estate. We put all our savings in that investment,” she said. Unfortunately, the investment turned out to be a fraud. On the day their daughter was born, Swan and her husband realized that they had lost everything that they have built in the last couple of years.

It was a painful event for Swan and her family. “At that time, I could have gone back into the corporate world, but being true to myself, I did not. I desired to be beside my daughter as she grew up. Then, I realized that I am already working online for a couple of years, so I could still work anywhere. It was a eureka moment for me,” Swan narrated. Swan continued that they decided to sell the remaining things that they had and travel the world to rebuild their lives. For the last 12 years, Swan and her Unstoppable Family have lived in more than 50 countries around the world while building her million-dollar business, The Unstoppable Branding Agency.

Convert Your Passion Into Income

“Do not limit yourself to the confinement of a workplace. I know that every one of us has a particular talent or skill that can be shared with the world,” Swan said. She added that all of us have a passion that can be converted into a profitable business. “You know something, why not turn that knowledge into a product or a service that you can sell? You are passionate about baking cakes. Why not turn that into a cake business? You are a professional. Why not use your knowledge to provide coaching to others?” Swan urged.

Digital and mobile platforms like social media allow us to connect with other people globally. Swan said that it is much easier now to create something and sell it online. Unlike before, starting a business right now does not require considerable capital to finance a business.

Swan said that the trend right now is to work remotely. “If you notice, digital nomads are on the rise. These people are not confined to office spaces to do their work. They are leveraging the power of technology to perform their work anywhere in the world. They travel the world while they are working,” she added.

An Invitation

“Do not waste your time mesmerizing at the right time to build your own business. Every time is the right time. You have to find your passion and live that passion,” Swan encouraged. She added that when they decided to travel the world to rebuild their lives, she never knew that she would end up with a 7-figure business. “If you have a dream, make it happen. Believe in yourself, and take the first step. And the first step is to decide right now,” Swan explained.
