The Right Way to Value Personal Growth – How Kristina Johnson Laid the Foundations of the Visionary Mindset Academy

Posted on May 27, 2020May 28, 2020 by admin

Many people believe that their mental development and growth stop when they complete their degrees as it is the only way they can learn new things. However, it is not true. The process of development and growth is an on-going process because a person never stops learning. Whether it’s a kindergarten student or a highly successful entrepreneur, everyone is in their learning phase throughout their lifetime. The on-going process of learning helps people improve their habits, behaviors, actions, as well as reactions. The constant improvement is termed as “personal growth.” It is one of the most important aspects of life that not many people pay attention to. Americans spend 33 times more of their hard-earned cash on movies, music, and makeup; then they spend on their personal growth.

Healthier relationships, reduced stress, improved health, increased productivity, enhanced self-control, improved peace of mind, greater resilience, more happiness, and greater success are all results of personal growth. The most successful entrepreneurs and business owners do not ever give up on the idea of learning and improvement, which is what makes them closer to perfection. Kristina Johnson, the founder of the Visionary Mindset Academy, is an advocate of personal growth who is helping people ways they can value themselves and work on their growth.

Realizing the Importance of Personal Growth
Born on February 14, 1981, in Dayton, Ohio, Kristina Johnson is playing a key role in teaching people the right way to value personal growth. She was introduced to the idea of personal growth from her loving parents. Her parents were passionate individuals who instilled in their daughter the concept of personal growth. Moreover, it was her parents who introduced her to the idea of making an impact on the community. Her parents were the first major influencers in her life that helped her decide to start her own academy and blog later in life.

Before she pursued her career as a health & fitness coach and business analyst, she was inclined towards the fashion industry. She joined the John Casablanca Modeling & Acting Agency. During this time, she grew a fondness of reading blogs and magazine articles that were focused on woman growth and beauty. She learned a great deal from these blogs. It even encouraged her to compete in Beauty pageants, and she participated as Miss Dayton, Ohio, in the “Miss TEEN USA” Pageant. It helped her get deeper into the concept of learning and growth. The fashion industry was another aspect of her life that contributed to the establishment of her academy and blog.

Another significant part of her life was her time in Japan and her fondness with the Japanese language, customs, and cultures. Japanese people, especially women, are often labeled as happy people, and she was eager to learn their secret. She was one of the only four students studying Japanese as a secondary language in her high school. She pursued her higher studies in the field of Nursing. Later, she switched her field of study to Psychology, Business, and Japanese. It was during this time she got an internship in Okayama City, Japan, where she served as an ambassador for Wright State University. She was one out of the only two students who were selected to attend their sister University in Japan. It was her chance to learn the secrets of the Japanese people, and she spent an entire year studying the Japanese lifestyle and culture. Not only this, but she also helped many Japanese people learn English.
In addition to this, she also spent time in the real estate sector. Her hunger and passion for learning helped her complete three master’s degrees in Business, Informatics, and Health Administration in December 2018. All these aspects of her life pushed her into becoming a life coach and convinced her that she could help struggling business owners regain control of their lives. She applies her knowledge to teach people self-worth and find their fulfillment.

Laying the Grounds for the Visionary Mindset Academy
Apart from her diverse professional portfolio and collection of life experiences, she has always been a good listener. Her family members, friends, and school mates used to talk to her, and she had the skills to help them find peace through her words. Most importantly, she had a listening ear, which helped her focus on what the people were saying rather than jumping into the conversation herself and offering unneeded guidance. By helping the people in her life, she got a hands-on experience of coaching. All this collectively helped her come up with the idea of coaching. Her time in Japan proved beneficial for her business.

In the year 2005, Kristina got married to her best friend, Simeon Johnson. They worked on the concept together. It was on November 01, 2019, Kristina, with her husband’s support, established the Visionary Mindset Academy. She provides a platform for struggling business owners to learn the true purpose of their lives and even provides her services as a business analyst to help them improve the operations across their business. She teaches her clients the right ways to value personal growth and provides them with a chance to improve the quality of their life. Her Visionary Mindset Academy and blog, Johnson Post, teach people ways to address their weaknesses and come out as strong, determined, and happy individuals.
