What Are You Packing for Your Next Trip?

Posted on September 20, 2024 by admin

INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, welcomed Kathy Healey to provide another commentary in a series.

The Kathy Healey Commentaries

Are you just going to grandma’s house? Is your best friend getting married and you are the maid of honor? If you are going on a cruise to the Caribbean for 10 days what do you pack? I have been to 141 countries in the world and my suitcase is 20” tall, 8” front to back, 13” tall. I probably have a backpack for my phone, tablet, medicines, snacks, noise cancelling earbuds and gummy bears. In the suitcase is my favorite Nike running shoes, flip flops, socks, underwear, razor, hair clips, and a book or kindle. Do you weigh you suitcase before you go to the airport so it is not over 50 pounds? When you are traveling over Christmas, do you ship your packages ahead or try to squeeze them between your special items? Do not lock you suitcase because TSA has the right to open any bag at any time. The average checked luggage is 32” tall, 14” front to back and 24” wide and weighs 45 pounds.
