The Exponential Rise of the Real Life Genie of Hollywood

Posted on March 16, 2021 by David Jackson

Having a breakthrough in the entertainment industry is not easy, especially if you are aiming for something on a global scale. In order to see tangible results, you need to exert a lot of effort into your work. Moreover, if you want to leave a lasting impact, you have to be innovative and passionate in your craft. This is the proven framework that Ashwin Jacob used to make it to the top.

This entertainment genius is currently the head of entertainment partnerships and strategy for the admirable New Hollywood LLC. Apart from that, Jacob has an accumulated experience in various industries, such as fashion, entertainment, and technology, which contributes to his knowledge and understanding of the inner workings in Hollywood. In addition, he has also worked with several celebrities, including NFL wide-receiver Terrell Owens, Billboard Top-20 artist Greg Gatsby, viral sensation Jody Steel, Gabbie Hanna of The Gabbie Show, and YouTuber Dominic DeAngelis.

Destined to Be Mediocre

When Ashwin was growing up, he believed that he had to work five times harder than the average man to get half as much. Brought up by immigrant parents in Boston, he went through numerous obstacles that pushed him to his limits, which, consequently, became his strengths. The Hollywood genie also learned how to speak English from watching television shows and movies. From his experiences at a very young age, his love and passion for the entertainment industry were ignited and, through the years, grew. He was determined to overcome adversity and find his way into the international spotlight.

The Shift to Los Angeles

When Ashwin completed his Master’s program, he decided to leave his hometown and move to LA. At 27 with nothing more than $500, a leaky mattress, and three months of paid rent, he took a leap of faith and relocated to the opposite side of the country, hoping for growth, betterment, and essentially success.

Within that period, he took a gamble and became a founding member of a management company, Vario Studios, where he also headed the venture’s talent and brand partnerships. Less than a year later, he had worked with Fortune 500 companies, such as NBC Universal, Disney, BMW, and Microsoft.

Afterwards, he served as the head of entertainment partnerships and strategy for New Hollywood LLC and began the New Hollywood podcast. Aside from talent management, Ashwin also deals with management consulting, optimization strategy, marketing, and advisory roles in both entertainment and technology industries.

The Importance of Creating Valuable Relationships

As innately social beings, humans long to develop connections with others. What bonds people together is having a common ground, which is something that can be shared and fostered. In relationships, building a connection is paramount as it adds more value and helps establish commonality, which in turn aids in gaining confidence and trust.

At the core of Ashwin’s growth in the industry is his skill to develop meaningful and valuable relationships with others. He does this in subtle ways, such as exchange of brief introductions, occasional hookups, and provision of access to events. By proactively looking out for his clients with no exception, he stays in the consideration set for future opportunities. This is the x-factor that keeps the Hollywood real-life genie rising.

Currently, Jacob hosts clients, friends, and a plethora of notable celebrities on the podcast. He has continuously created opportunities for his clients by tactfully leveraging social media, utilizing traditional media placements, and executing exceptional relationship management.

He hosts multiple large-scale parties all year round for renowned trendsetters, business people, and celebrities in Los Angeles. Some of these notable events include Coachella, Art Basel, Tai Lopez’s Influencer Pool Parties, and Justin Comb’s Halloween Fright Night.

Conclusion

Ashwin Jacobs is the perfect example of a man who beats all odds to make something legendary out of something ordinary. He inspires all the little boys with nothing but pure passion and huge dreams for the entertainment industry. Indeed, he is a real-life Hollywood genie.
