Path to Success: How Jacques Poujade Became a Financial Expert

Posted on February 18, 2021 by David Jackson

Success is never achieved in a day. No matter how desirous of it or passionate about it you are, you must surely go through stages and processes to make it your reality. That’s just how it works; you don’t get to the top merely by wishing.

When it comes to achieving success in the area of finance, there are quite a number of hurdles you might have to cross. Yes, getting started is easy, but staying committed is not.

The best way to remain on top is to learn from Mortgage Experts like Jacques Poujade.

In this article, I’ll be sharing a few things about how Jacques Poujade managed to become a financial expert. From employee motivation to client management, the LendPlus founder has got quite a lot of experiences that makes him stand out in the space. There’s a lot to grasp in here.

How it started

Jacques Poujade started his finance career as a supervisor in Coopers and Lybrand before he later moved to other firms. At the other firms, he served in various capacities and led a lot of brilliant innovations.

While in an interview with Sweet Startups, he admitted he has always been drawn to real estate. And for him, starting a financing firm was the best way to overcome home-buying challenges.

After gaining enough experience in firms like Zimcor Group and First National Bank of Boston, Jacques Poujade moved to set up LendPlus. He also helped borrowers simplify the process of buying a home.

In a nutshell, the journey for Jacques Poujade started on a platter of exposure. He was basically exposed to the difficulties associated with home-buying, and so he sought to make life easier for those who may not have premium credit records.

The role of social media

According to Jacques Poujade, Social media is a crucial part of LendPlus’ strategy. We can hardly ever talk about his success in finance without mentioning the role of social media.

Social media helped Jacques reach clients—both existing and potential. It also helped him gain access to lots of handy finance materials.

Besides reaching clients and, perhaps, providing resources to homeowners, social media has been a useful tool for learning finance tips.

Apart from experience, Jacques Poujude has his way of reaching for the best. He knows what he wants and he knows just how to go after same. As one who has worn many hats in his role with LendPlus, he delights in creating long-term business strategies and making sure his deals get creative structuring.
