Posted on November 25, 2020January 21, 2021 by The Times USA News

Cancer is the second leading cause of death all over the globe. In 2018, The International Agency for Research in Cancer reported 17 million new cases and 9.5 deaths due to cancer worldwide.

In 2015, France recorded over 385,000 new cases of Cancer. 211,000 cases were in men and 174,000 cases in women.

2 out of 3 people survive cancer. Over three million people in France survived Cancer.

Anyone has the risk of developing cancer. The risk rises with age, vices such as alcoholism and smoking, and even genetics has a role. Your workplace, especially if it is industrial, can impose health risks that raise the possibility of developing cancer as well.

While there is no vaccine to prevent cancer, you can reduce the risk by getting vaccines for some of the viruses leading to cancer. Two viruses that carry cancer strains are the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and Hepatitis B. HPV carries strains that develop some cancers such as cervical and throat cancer. Hepatitis B raises your risk of developing liver cancer.

Cancer does not always exhibit symptoms. Some manifest symptoms until they are advanced. That is why many general practitioners encourage people to go for cancer screenings.

However, if you live in Paris, then the Institut of Curie is the best place to seek cancer screening and treatment.

Institut Curie is one of the leading cancer hospital in Paris, where you can seek cancer screenings. The research and treatment institute homes doctors, researchers, medical and healthcare professionals that can give you great assistance as you deal with a cancer diagnosis.

Institut Curie is recognized for its international influence on cancer research and treatment.

Institut Curie is known for its efforts to providing affordable and quality treatment for people diagnosed with cancer. The institute also provides training for caregivers and teaching patients’ families of the diagnosis to cope.
