The FBI and Hunter Biden

Posted on December 21, 2022 by admin

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed John D. O’Connor.

The FBI’s intervention in quashing the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020 as ramifications that extend far beyond this story. Traditional American values exalt not only free speech, but also and more importantly, open and even heated debate. But Progressives, whose ideological leanings veer toward speech cancellation and control over acceptable thought, advocate in the opposite direction, contrary to American tradition, using the charge of “conspiracy theory”, shadow banning, de-platforming and “denialism” to prevent debate over traditional ideas deemed “conservative” or “right-wing”. However worrisome this Progressive project is, really advocating for an exclusive ideology, it can be staunchly defended as exercise of freedom of speech. But with the emerging news of the FBI’s initiative, the story is turned on its head. We now have a government agency stifling free speech, a violation of the First Amendment. And we have unelected officials on their own deciding to interfere, falsely, in an election, against the presumed wishes of their Commander in Chief in charge of national security matters, which the FBI claimed this was. Nothing could be a more frightening assault on our American society’s freedoms.

Kevin Price introduces Price of Business show recurring guest, John D. O’Connor. O’Connor was the famed attorney of Watergate’s “Deep Throat.
According to PostGateBook.com “O’Connor served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Northern California from 1974-1979, representing the United States in both criminal and civil cases. Among his interesting assignments have been representation of the government during the OPEC oil embargo of the 1970s; writing Fifth Amendment and “state of mind” briefs for the prosecution in United States v. Patricia Hearst; representing the FDIC, FSLC and RTC during the savings and loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s; representing California Attorney General Dan Lungren in campaign-related litigation; defending R.J. Reynolds Tobacco in significant smoking and health litigation; representing Coach Don Nelson in litigation with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban; and representing W. Mark Felt regarding the revelation of his identity as Deep Throat.”
