Progressive Group Offers a “Blueprint for Democracy” After Trump

Posted on December 5, 2019 by admin

INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business show and editor on this website, interviewed Leah Greenberg, co-founder and co-Executive Director of the Indivisible Project.

While momentum builds toward impeachment in Washington, Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg are leading the charge from the outside. Deemed the “breakout stars of the new activists” (The Economist), their organization, Indivisible, stood on the front lines in the first years of Trump. They helped defeat Trumpcare. They stoked mass opposition to extremist immigration policy. And crucially, they helped ignite 2018’s Blue Wave. Trump’s removal is the latest step in their urgent cause to revitalize American democracy.   In WE ARE INDIVISIBLE: A Blueprint for Democracy After Trump, Levin and Greenberg draw on their astonishing success and first-hand experience leading the movement, explaining their origin story, sharing the lessons they’ve learned about building and applying power, and laying down the blueprint for how to win the coming fight for the future of our political system.

According to her website, “Leah Greenberg is a co-founder and co-Executive Director of the Indivisible Project. She most recently served as Policy Director for the Tom Perriello for Governor of Virginia campaign. Previously, she managed the Partnership for Freedom, a $6 million public-private partnership on human trafficking, served as an Advisor to the State Department’s Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review process, coordinated interagency engagement for the State Department’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, and worked on the Hill for Congressman Tom Perriello.  Leah holds a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and a master’s degree in international affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.” https://indivisible.org/staff/leah-greenberg
