Entrepreneur Expands Health Services

Posted on August 14, 2019August 14, 2019 by admin

Morris county entrepreneur Mark Soloff is fulfilling his dream of making a difference in the lives of residents in New Jersey by expanding BrightStar Care home care and medical staffing agency services into Essex County. This expanded service area will provide a range of compassionate, person-centered medical and non-medical care to people of all ages, from infants to seniors in the safety and comfort of their homes.

BrightStar Care of Morris County is now serving Essex County and will offer a myriad of comprehensive services that meet the highest industry standards and will work to help educate residents on the right questions to ask when searching for an in-home care provider for a loved one. In order to provide the highest standard of care possible, Soloff currently employs approximately 130 fulltime and part time employees from nurses to caregivers.

“Expanding into Essex County and owning BrightStar Care of Morris County enables me to fulfill my passion for helping more people in New Jersey” said owner of BrightStar Care of Morris and Essex Counties, Mark Soloff. “Through this expansion, I hope to make an even bigger impact on the lives of the community members who require our services.”

With a background in marketing and sales, it was not until a health incident with his father that made him think to get into the health care industry. Through the incident, he experienced the panic and confusion that thousands of other sons, daughters, mothers, and husbands go through every year trying to quickly find a safe and caring place for their loved ones. Soloff knew that he wanted to be a part of making the process easier for those in need and took over ownership of BrightStar Care of Morris County in 2015.

BrightStar Care recently conducted third-party research that shows that as families seek quality in-home care for their aging loved ones, the most important factors they consider include having a compassionate caregiver they can trust, somebody who understands the unique needs of their loved one, and having qualified, skilled medical professionals overseeing their care. However, the lack of clinical quality standards within the local and national private duty in-home care sector, combined with the public’s lack of knowledge of the industry, can make it challenging for Morris and Essex County families confronted with the need for care or professionals looking to select a trustworthy service partner.

Further setting them apart from the competition, BrightStar Care of Morris and Essex Counties is RN Led. Director of Nursing Margarida Barbosa-Barreiro R.N. creates unique, personalized plans of care for each and every client and oversees a professional care team of well-qualified, experienced caregivers to deliver expert, compassionate, and personal care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Margarida has been a Registered Nurse for 9 years and has experience with patients that range from pediatrics to geriatrics. Margarida is most passionate about creating a respectful, professional and caring environment in each of BrightStar Care’s client’s homes. She values shared decision making with families and loved ones. The Director of Nursing leads regularly scheduled care plan review meetings for every client.
